On 9 January 2018, the sale of CIF and CAIW by the Rabo Bouwfonds Communication Infrastructure Fund C.V. to the EQT Infrastructure Fund has been effectuated. The acquisition includes Caiway and the coax and fiber optic infrastructure that offers broadband access to more than 350,000 households in the Netherlands.
The sale has been approved by the works council and the Authority for Consumers and Markets. CIF and CAIW are placed in the same holding company as DELTA. The new group management will be responsible for all activities of CIF, CAIW and DELTA. This management is headed by Marco Visser, CEO of DELTA.
